The automotive industry has been front and center in the fight against forced labor in supply chains. In recent years, additions to the UFLPA Entity List as well as congressional reports and letters have placed the industry under scrutiny. Automakers' complex supply chains necessitate a risk-based approach to identifying, investigating, and rectifying exposure to forced labor.
In November 2024, Kharon announced its strategic partnership with the Automotive Industry Action Group to expand its support for the automotive sector in navigating challenges related to forced labor risks within supply chains.
Three of Kharon’s partners – Altana, Resilinc, and SUPPLIERASSURANCE – were also selected as Preferred Partners of AIAG’s Forced Labor Due Diligence Program, which was developed in collaboration with leading OEMs, including Ford, GM, Honda, Nissan, Stellantis, and Toyota.
To kick-off this partnership, Kharon has announced a series of webinars with our partners to introduce the automotive industry to each partner’s supply chain capabilities and their integration of Kharon’s industry-leading forced labor risk data. These webinars are intended to showcase each Preferred Partner’s platform in action, how Kharon’s data surfaces hidden forced labor risk, and provide the opportunity for a live Q&A with the Preferred Partners.
